How do you intentionally get better – as a leader, teacher, parent, or whatever?
Last week our family went to the South Carolina Homeschool Convention as we made our way back toward Virginia. Â Just as in your job or career you seek out professional development workshops and conferences, so too do homeschooling parents. Â We want to get better at how we lead and how we teach! Â We heard some great insights from Dr. Ben Carson, Matt Walsh, John Rosemond, and so many more.
No one wakes up one day and says, “wow, I’ve gotten so much better at being a leader, parent, spouse, employee, boss, etc. – how did that happen? Â I never worked on it…” Â Doesn’t happen. Â It takes intentional effort and focus.
